Woj: Pistons interested in Trajan Langdon

Adrian Wojnarowski tweets that Trajan Langdon, Sean Marks No. 2, is on Detroit’s list of possible candidates to replace the recently fired Stan Van Gundy as Pistons’ president of basketball operations.

Of the six, Langdon is about midway on the experience scale. Both Vandeweghe and Stefanski are former GM’s and worked under Rod Thorn with the New Jersey Nets. Rosas is a longtime assistant to Darryl Morey while the other two are retired NBA players who’ve stayed in the game, Barry as a TV analyst and Battier as a recently hired director of analytics for the Heat.

Marks hired Langdon away from the Cavaliers in 2016. The two had worked together in San Antonio before that. Langdon had a long career in Europe, playing mostly for CSKA Moscow when they were owned by Mikhail Prokhorov. He’s 42 years old.
