The 63-year-old signed a contract until June 2019 when he took over in November following Ronald Koeman’s dismissal.

Everton, who were 13th in the Premier League when Allardyce arrived, finished the season in eighth.

Meanwhile, Moyes, 55, took over from Slaven Bilic on a short-term contract in November with the club in the relegation zone.

West Ham secured safety with two games to spare and finished 13th. Moyes met senior figures at the club on Monday.

“I’m very happy at Shakhtar,” Fred told Brazilian outlet SporTV. “I’ve been working well here but it has been five years.

“I made it clear to the club that I was very happy here but I want to make a bigger leap in my career.

“There are other clubs interested in England and France. I want to make a bigger leap, I made it clear to the club.

“Now I just have to wait to get through the World Cup and see which is the best destination.

Donnarumma to Liverpool

10.45: Liverpool could sign AC Milan star Gianluigi Donnarumma if one thing happens, according to reports.

Liverpool are primed to sign a goalkeeper this summer with Jurgen Klopp likely to sell Simon Mignolet.

Donnarumma is in the sights of Real Madrid and PSG having blossomed for AC Milan amid a difficult campaign.

The Italy international looks primed to leave the San Siro, with former Liverpool star Pepe Reina joining as his replacement.

And the Liverpool Echo say the Reds could actually be the 19-year-old’s next club.

Messi wanted Real Madrid move

08.00: Lionel Messi ‘always wanted to play at Real Madrid’, claims Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda.

Inda claims when Messi first came over to Spain in 2001, Messi wanted to play in the capital and Real Madrid’s former sporting director Jorge Valdarno had attempted to sign him.

“He always wanted to play at Real Madrid,” Inda said.

“Moreover, in 2002 he was about to be signed. Valdano tried, but could not and went to Barca.”

Man Utd confident of landing Alderweireld

07.20: Manchester United are said to be confident of landing Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham.

The Evening Standard report that the Belgium international is likely to join United in a deal worth more than £40m.

Alderweireld looks set to leave this summer due to a contract dispute with the club.

The 29-year-old’s current deal includes a release clause of £25m which can be triggered next summer, so the club are likely to sanction a sale this year to get full value.

McTominay on his way out of Old Trafford?

06.25: Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho may allow Scott McTominay to join a fellow Premier League club on loan next season, according to reports.

McTominay has starred for United’s first-team this season having impressed Mourinho in pre-season.

He has made 23 appearances in all competitions this term and could start as United face Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday (5.15pm).

McTominay won Manager’s Player of the Year award at Old Trafford earlier this month, but Mourinho may still let the 21-year-old spend some time away from the club.

Metro report that United have received a number of loan enquiries from Premier League clubs for the Scotland international.

And Mourinho is aware he won’t be able to give the youngster as much playing time next season should he secure his top midfield targets

Alvaro Morata warning

05.30: Chelsea must not make a hasty decision over Alvaro Morata’s future, according to ESPN pundit Shaka Hislop.

Reports have suggested that the Blues are prepared to take a massive hit on the misfiring Spaniard.

Juventus have been linked with a move for the striker, who scored 15 goals in his debut campaign for Chelsea.

Hislop insists it is too soon to consider “cutting ties” with Morata.

Instead, he thinks the Blues can’t afford to make the same mistake of letting a striker leave without having a suitable replacement.

“If Chelsea are to learn one lesson from 12 months ago, you don’t cut ties with your striker until you have a replacement already lined up,” Hislop said.

“They paid the price for that and surely they won’t make the same mistake two years running.”

Jean-Michael Seri’s Chelsea preference

04.00: Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri would reportedly prefer a move to Chelsea over Arsenal.

Reports last month indicated the west London outfit are considering a £30million offer for Seri, who shone for Nice.

Arsenal have also been tracking his progress and they are pondering a potential deal with Jack Wilshere yet to pen a contract extension.

Barcelona tried to land the 26-year-old – who is valued at £40m – last summer, but he pulled out a deal.

And now according to the London Evening Standard, Seri would be prepared to snub the Gunners to join one of their Premier League rivals.

Mourinho wants Bonucci

01.40: Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will try to tempt AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci to Old Trafford this summer, according to reports.

The 31-year-old was linked to Chelsea and Real Madrid last summer as he left Juventus for Milan.

The centre-back ended up staying in Italy due to his son’s poor health and he could now be persuaded to move out of the country.

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport claim Mourinho is interested in Bonucci having been left frustrated with his defence this season.

Eden Hazard admits he is waiting for Chelsea to sign better players

Tuesday May 15

Hazard makes transfer demand

22.50: Eden Hazard has issued an ultimatum at Chelsea – sign better players or I could leave!

Hazard is wanted at Real Madrid and is yet to sign his new £300,000-a-week contract offer at Stamford Bridge.

“I’m waiting for new players next season,” said Hazard.

“I want good players because I want to win the Premier League next season. A lot of things, then we will see.

“It’s something big so I need to think of a lot of things.”

Arsenal make Seri bid

21.30: Arsenal have made a bid for Nice midfielder Jean Michel Seri.

Sky Sports claim the offer has been lodged ahead of the transfer window opening.

Seri was in demand last summer, with Barcelona linked to the midfielder.

But Arsenal hope they can prise him away from Ligue 1 before a European rival get their hands on him.

Everton problems

20.45: Everton will have to stump up £6m to get rid of Sam Allardyce.

The Toffees want to appoint Marco Sivla as their new manager.

But Express Sport understands axing Allardyce will come at a price.

Everton bosses are also set for showdown talks with Wayne Rooney, who is unhappy the club have shown interest in selling him to DC United in the MLS.

Arsenal and Monaco have had bids for Roma’s Cengiz Under rejected

Roma reject Arsenal deal

19.20: Roma have rejected a £26m bid from Arsenal for winger Cengiz Under.

Under, 20, has impressed at Roma this season but the club are seeking £43.8m to let him leave.

Arsenal are pushing ahead with their transfer strategy despite not having a manager yet in place.

Arsene Wenger left the club at the end of the season after nearly 22 years in charge.

Tuttomercato claim Monaco also had a bid for Under rejected by Serie A side Roma.

Arsenal transfer blow

18.45: Arsenal’s plan to sign Kalidou Koulibaly this summer could be up in smoke already.

Express Sport understands the Gunners have identified Koulibaly as a viable centre-back target.

But Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim Barcelona have emerged as suitors of the Napoli star.

Koulibaly would likely cost not of £50million, with Napoli keen for the Senegal international to stay.

And Arsenal could instead move for Jonny Evans, who is available at a bargain £3m deal following West Brom’s relegation.

Morata to Juventus

16.45: Alvaro Morata could leave Chelsea for just £44m this summer.

That is according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

They claim the Chelsea striker is wanted at his former club Juventus.

Juve are hoping to beat down Chelsea’s £52m asking price and land Morata initially on loan, before paying his permanent fee in instalments.

Hazard wants out

14.20: Eden Hazard could sensationally quit Chelsea for Manchester City this summer, reports in Spain claim.

The Belgium international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent months.

And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Hazard doesn’t want to stay at Chelsea after they failed to qualify for the Champions League this season.

They say the winger feels it’s time to move on, with numerous teams chasing the 27-year-old.

Don Balon add that Pep Guardiola’s City have enquired about Hazard’s situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

PSG and Bayern Munich have also asked to be kept informed about Hazard’s plans, while Real Madrid are still linked with the Belgium star.

Man Utd’s Ghoulam chase

14:10: Manchester United are set to open talks with Napoli star Faouzi Ghoulam in the coming days, reports in France claim.

And according to transfer outlet FootMercato, United are closing in on Napoli left-back Ghoulam.

They say Mourinho has already approved the move and talks will begin soon.

FootMercato add that United are willing to spend around £48m (€55m) on Ghoulam, 27.

Algeria international Ghoulam is represented by Jorge Mendes, who is also Mourinho’s agent.

Klopp wants two players

13.45: Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants an attacker and a creative midfielder this summer.

The Reds have had a remarkable season, securing a top-four spot, as well as reaching the Champions League final.

However, Liverpool finished 25 points behind Premier League champions Manchester City this season.

The Reds are expected to splash the cash this summer in an attempt to keep up with Pep Guardiola’s side next year.

And Goal claim Liverpool boss Klopp has outlined two key areas where he wants to strengthen.

The German is desperate to sign at least one attacker, as well as a creative midfielder this summer.

Arsenal need signings

11:36: Alan Shearer says Arsenal need a lot more signings than the two Arsene Wenger suggests.

Last week, in the build up to his final game of the season, the former Arsenal boss suggested the Gunners only need to make ‘two or three’ additions to the squad in order to compete for the Premier League title next year.

But Shearer believes Arsenal, who finished a staggering 37 points behind champions Manchester City, are a long way off challenging.

“It is difficult to describe how poor Arsenal have been this season other than to say they have been Arsenal,” Premier League legend Shearer told Coral.

“For them to be so poor away from home in 2018 is very embarrassing. The new manager has a massive job on his hands and it is going to take a lot of time.

“I heard Arsene Wenger say this team is only two players away from winning the title but they need a lot more than that. They are at least six or seven players off challenging.”

Liverpool warned

11.00: Jamie Carragher has told Liverpool to sign a dynamic forward this summer.

“You have to be concerned. I thought the squad was very good at the start of the season, but I think what it lacks is cover for the front three. When one of them misses out, the quality coming in is not enough,” Carragher told Goal.

“[Naby] Keita will add quality to the midfield, but I think we do still lack a little bit since [Philippe] Coutinho went in terms of that final pass. Defensively we’re fine in terms of numbers, but I think we need something more in the final third.

“We don’t need a striker. We need a multi-functional player. Another Mane, if you like.

“You could probably play Mane up front if you wanted to. He can play left, right or up front, like someone like Alexis Sanchez can.

“There’s no point bringing in a striker to cover for Firmino and sitting him on the bench. You need someone who can come in and cover for one or two players with quality, start games when he needs to and compete with the others.

“As a manager it’s difficult. You bring in a squad player, and you try to find someone who is good enough to replace your starters, but happy not playing every week. There aren’t many of those players around!

“If Liverpool can find a really good attacking player who can play two or three positions, he will get games anyway. He will almost play every week. Players need resting, the manager rotates, he changes for different fixtures. It is possible to keep them happy, but you have to find the right player.”

Salah fee

09.30: Mohamed Salah would cost £137m if he was to leave Anfield this summer.

That’s according to BT Sport pundit Michael Owen, who says the Egyptian is the Premier League’s bargain of the season despite costing £37m.

Salah has enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign at Liverpool and will be hoping to add a Champions League winners’ medal to his clutch of personal accolades.

The Premier League Golden Boot winner’s form has seen him touted as a target for Real Madrid as they look to overhaul their underperforming squad.

Owen insists it would take almost as much as Barcelona paid to prise Philippe Coutinho away from Liverpool in order to secure Salah’s services though.

“I think I have to,” said the former Liverpool striker, when asked on BT Sport Score if he agrees Salah has been the bargain of the season.

“I mean it’s not often you spend £37m on someone and you say it’s a bargain.

“But, in this day and age, what’s his value now? You could probably put another £100m on to that.”

Alderweireld update

08.30: Toby Alderweireld is being tracked by Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG as the uncertainty around his Tottenham future rumbles on.

The Belgium defender has struggled to get back into Mauricio Pochettino’s team after returning from injury this season.

And it is understood the contract dispute is causing friction to his relationship with the club.

He has two years left on his deal but has a £25m release clause which can be triggered in 2019 – and talks over a new contract have stalled.

And now, according to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG are preparing to make their moves.

Lindelof to Wolves?

07:00: Wolves have reportedly registered interest in Manchester United centre-back Victor Lindelof with the Portuguese international having failed to establish himself as a regular first-choice.

The 23-year-old joined from Benfica last summer but has found himself in and out of Jose Mourinho’s team.

And The Sun suggest that Premier League new-comers Wolves could be looking to sign Lindelof on loan as they look to bolster their squad.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is well aware of Lindelof’s ability having been at Benfica’s arch rivals Porto while the defender broke through for The Eagles.

Neymar Real Madrid claim

05:00: Neymar will be Real Madrid’s marquee transfer target – but not this summer, according to Guillem Balague.

Real Madrid are said to be keen on the 26-year-old – the front-running candidate to dominate Ballon d’Or voting once Messi and Los Blancos ace Cristiano Ronaldo retire – as one of few clubs that could finance such a mega deal.

But amid suggestions that Madrid would be willing to fund a transfer that would once again break the world transfer record in the coming months, Balague insists any move is far more likely in 12 months’ time.

“There has been a lot of talk on Neymar and how Real want to get him away from PSG,” he wrote in his Sky Sports column.

“Real would quite clearly like to get Neymar on board, but I don’t think it is going to be possible this summer.

“From PSG the message is clear: he is going to stay. He has taken a picture with the new shirt, saying he’s looking forward to wearing the shirt with PSG.”

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho replacement

03:30: Liverpool are looking at West Ham’s Manuel Lanzini as a potential replacement for Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.

Coutinho joined Barcelona in a deal worth £142million in January.

The Reds are looking to strike some serious business in the summer window.

And according to The Daily Mirror, Jurgen Klopp could make a move for Manuel Lanzini, althoughb he has yet to declare an interest.

Also on the Anfield outfit’s radar is Lyon star Nabil Fekir.

Man Utd’s £44m swoop

01:00: Manchester United are reportedly getting ready to make a bid for Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj.

Jose Mourinho has made strengthening his back four a priority over the summer.

Juventus left-back Alex Sandro could join when the transfer window reopens.

And according to The Sun, United are prepared to meet Hysaj’s asking price.

It is said a potential transfer could free up Matteo Darmian to move on, with Juventus likely suitors.

Tottenham transfer demands

22:35: Mauricio Pochettino will demand a mega transfer kitty to keep him happy at Tottenham.

Express Sport understands the Argentine manager wants at least £100m to spend on new players.

He will also demand any money raised on player sales goes back into his transfer fund.

Spurs finished third this season on a tight budget and move into their new stadium in August.

Pochettino wants £50m to sign Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, as well as Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, Celtic star Keiran Teirney and Swansea defender Alfie Mawson.

Dyche to Arsenal

21:15: Chris Sutton wants Arsenal to consider Sean Dyche as their next manager.

“Why not Sean Dyche? Why have we not heard Sean Dyche?” Sutton said on BBC Radio 5 Live.

“What are the issues at Arsenal? Do we really see issues with Arsenal going forward as an attacking outfit? I don’t think so.

“Where are the issues? Defensively. What has Sean Dyche done at Burnley since he’s gone in there? He has made them watertight and organised.

“He’s done his apprenticeship, he’s taken Burnley up, credit to the board at the particular time because they stuck with him when they went down, he brought them back.

“He’s had five years at Burnley and he has turned them into a brilliantly organised outfit.

“That is what I think Arsenal need in this moment in time. But he is unfashionable – that is everybody’s perception.”

Newcastle transfer update

20:22: Rafael Benitez insists he is happy and focused at Newcastle, despite interest in his signature from Everton, West Ham and Napoli.

“My future? I’ve heard so much talk, but I haven’t spoken to [Napoli chairman] Aurelio de Laurentiis. I have a contract with Newcastle, I’m talking to them about my renewal,” he said.

“They made me some offers to stay here for a few more years, plus I have to manage my family. When I decided to go to Newcastle and stay there, even in the Championship, it was also because of my family.

“My priority is to stay in England. I’m only talking to Newcastle right now.”

Transfer window to open THIS WEEK

18:00: The transfer window is set to open on Thursday.

The Premier League have agreed to open the window early, in order to comply with FIFA regulations.

Sky Sports claim the EFL are likely to follow suit.

The reason for the move is because the Premier League voted to bring forward the transfer deadline to August 9 this year.

It means opening day is to be moved back as well.

transfer news live Thomas TuchelGETTY

Thomas Tuchel has been appointed the new manager of PSG

Ronaldo on Neymar

17:10: Former Real Madrid striker Ronaldo has spoken about Neymar’s proposed move to the Bernabeu.

“I don’t decide anything for Real Madrid. I’m following it in the press, but right now I have nothing confirmed,” the Brazilian said at Sunday’s French football awards.

“I don’t know what is going to happen, although Madrid has historically made some big signings.

“If it is confirmed then Neymar would fit very well into the profile of a Real Madrid player.”

Tuchel joins PSG

17:00: Thomas Tuchel has been appointed as PSG’s new manager, despite long-running interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.

“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Thomas Tuchel as coach of the professional team. The German technician signed a two-year contract with the club champion of France,” a PSG statement read.

Tuchel said: “It is with great joy, pride and ambition that I join this great world football club that is Paris Saint-Germain.

“After the signing of his contract I look forward to working with all these great players, all of whom are among the best on the planet.

“With my staff, we will do everything to help the team push their limits to the highest international level.

“There is extraordinary potential in Paris and this is the most exciting challenge that has come to me.

Mancini appointed Italy manager

16:00: Roberto Mancini has been appointed as the new manager of Italy.

“I’m happy to be back in Italy: tomorrow we’ll see what happens,” Mancini said.

The ex-Manchester City manager has signed a five-year contract with the Azzurri.

It means Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s hopes of returning to national team management are over for now.

Mourinho could sign four players

14.35: Jose Mourinho could bring in four players this summer, Gary Neville claims.

The Red Devils finished second in the Premier League this season, securing Champions League football for next year.

And United hero Neville says Mourinho could bring in up to four players this summer, with the Special One likely to sign big characters to help with the mentality of his side.

“The question at Manchester United is which players do you keep and which don’t you keep. Who are the ones that Jose Mourinho thinks don’t have the mentality and who are the ones he feels do have it?” Neville told Sky Sports.

“I am confused by that, and Jose Mourinho probably is at times too, because the performance levels are up and down so much.

“It’s not just game to game but half to half. Look at the games against Manchester City and Crystal Palace, you see them at such a low and then such a high.

“He has mentioned mentality a lot in the last few weeks and I am convinced it’s because of those peaks and troughs coming so unexpectedly. You think how have they gone that low, and then here’s something else.

“He will want to make sure that is gone. That usually goes by having characters in the dressing room not letting the standards drop and making sure he has two, three, four players added to the squad. People who know how to win and don’t drop their standards week in, week out.

“That’s what Manchester City have been this season, they have been consistent. Manchester United have had a good season in the league in finishing second but it has been inconsistent and they have dipped at times.

“They have lost against all three promoted teams, that’s nine points. That’s an attack for next season. There are nine points you need to sort out and then you work away at the others and the big gap.”

Salah and Bale swap

12.50: Mohamed Salah and Gareth Bale could swap places in one of the most stunning deals in football history, according to sensational reports from Spain.

Spanish news outlet Diario Gol say Real Madrid are willing to include the Wales international in a player-plus-cash deal for Anfield superstar Salah.

Real are ready to offer Bale AND £79m (€90m) for the Egypt star this summer in the biggest swap deal in history.

Bale has struggled with injuries during his time at the Bernabeu and it seems the Spanish giants have ran out of patience with the winger.

And they are said to be lining up Liverpool sensation Salah as a possible replacement.

Real president Florentino Perez is said to believe Liverpool want at least £175m for Salah this summer.

And in a bid to get the price down he is ready to include Bale in the deal – killing two birds with one stone as they look to overhaul their squad.

Despite reaching the Champions League final again there is a feeling this Madrid team has reached the end of the line and will be ripped apart this summer.

Arfield arrives in Glasgow

11.05: Scott Arfield has arrived in Glasgow to sign for Rangers.

Arfield will become the first signing under new boss Steven Gerrard.

Arfield has agreed a four-year deal and completes his medical last month.

The midfielder has flown up to Glasgow from Burnley and will be confirmed as a Rangers player today.

Man Utd ready to make Ter Stegen move

10.30: Manchester United are ready to break the bank for Barcelona star Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

The Germany international has cemented his place as Ernesto Valverde’s No 1 at the Nou Camp.

Ter Stegen has kept 18 clean sheets this season, second to only Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak in La Liga.

And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Ter Stegen is attracting interest from United.

They say Jose Mourinho is willing to pay £88m (€100m) for the 26-year-old this summer if David De Gea quits Old Trafford.

De Gea is a long-term target for Real Madrid, with the Spanish giants desperate to replace Keylor Navas at the Bernabeu.

Higuain to Chelsea

10.20: Chelsea could be in line to sign Gonzalo Higuain, should Maurizio Sarri be appointed this summer.

The Blues ended their Premier League season with a whimper on Sunday, losing 3-0 to Newcastle at St. James’ Park.

Antonio Conte’s future remains in the balance, and if the club fail to win the FA Cup later this month, it would be no surprise to see the Italian depart.

Napoli chief Sarri is the current front-runner to take over at Stamford Bridge.

And according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the Serie A boss will look to reunite with Higuain upon his arrival in west London.

Sarri and the Juventus forward enjoyed a good relationship before he made his Stadio San Paolo exit in 2016.

Atletico want Griezmann to go to United

09.50: Atletico Madrid would prefer Antoine Griezmann to join Manchester United rather than Barcelona, reports claim.

Atletico Madrid hitman Griezmann nearly joined Manchester United last summer, with Barcelona focusing their efforts on keeping – and then replacing – Neymar.

The France international looked destined to move to Old Trafford but, after the La Liga giants were slapped with a transfer ban, he chose to give Atletico one more year of service.

United’s interest has appeared to cool since, particularly with the club pulling off big-money moves for the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku in recent times.

Yet Spanish outlet Don Balon say Atletico would still prefer to sell to them than Barcelona.

Salah happy at Liverpool

09.20: Mohamed Salah insists he’s happy at Liverpool.

The Egypt international, who was awarded with the Premier League Golden Boot yesterday, has been linked with a move away from Anfield in recent weeks.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are said to be tracking the former Chelsea winger, who has netted 44 goals in all competitions this season.

However, Salah has responded to rumours he will quit Anfield this summer, with the 25-year-old insisting he’s happy under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

When asked if he will leave Liverpool, Salah told Egyptian TV channel ON ENT: “All that I can say is that I’m happy to be here and I’ve adapted to the prevailing atmosphere.

“I’m thinking to end the season in the perfect way.”

Klopp eyes Grimaldo

08.35: Jurgen Klopp is reportedly considering whether to pay Benfica star Alex Grimaldo’s £53million release clause.

Liverpool are hunting reinforcements as Klopp targets Premier League glory at Anfield next season.

The Reds could sign a new left-back despite the fine form of Andy Robertson, who signed from Hull last summer.

Alberto Moreno’s Liverpool career appears to be ending with the Spaniard yet to ever truly convince.

And Transfermarketweb say Klopp could fork out £53m to sign Grimaldo.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a sensational season for Benfica, propelling them to second in the Primeira Liga table.

He is an outside shot to make Spain’s World Cup squad for the tournament, which starts next month.

Tierney focussing on Celtic

08.30: Kieran Tierney admits he’s flattered by interest in him but says he’s just concentrating on playing for Celtic.

The left-back has previously been linked with Manchester United, while Bournemouth are also monitoring him.

“I don’t react in any other way than giving my all for Celtic everyday in training and in every game I play,” he said.

“I’m flattered by the interest from teams – you have to be – it means you’re doing something well, it means you’re doing something right. I’m just enjoying my time here now.”

Zaha happy at Palace

08.10: Wilfried Zaha claims he is happy at Crystal Palace and expects to remain at the club.

The winger, who set Palace on course for a final-day win with the opening goal, has been linked with a move away from Selhurst Park with champions Manchester City leading the clubs eyeing the Ivorian.

But Zaha, 25, says he is happy to remain where he is after helping the Eagles to an 11th-place finish.

“I have no plans on leaving,” he said. “I’m enjoying my football, you can see how much I’m enjoying it. This is my home and there’s no reason for me to leave.”

Arsenal eye Koulibaly

08.00: Arsenal have pinpointed Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly as the man to improve their failing defence.

But the Italian club have placed a £53 million price tag on the Senegal star’s head, which put him out of Arsenal’s reach as they count the cost of failing to qualify for the Champions League.

Antonio Conte wanted to take Koulibaly to Chelsea in 2016 and he has been identified by Arsenal as they bid to tighten up at the back after Arsene Wenger’s departure.

The Gunners have conceded 51 league goals, the most they have let in since 1983-84, and are losing two centre-backs, with captain Per Mertesacker retiring and Laurent Koscielny out for months with a serious Achilles injury.

Wenger had wanted Jonny Evans, who is available for £3million after West Bromwich Albion’s relegation.

Napoli are expected to pocket a £50million windfall from selling midfielder Jorginho to an English club, with Manchester City favourites, and can afford to put a high price on Koulibaly.

The 26-year-old is under contract with Napoli until 2021 but Napoli are well aware they face a tough battle to keep hold of him this summer.

Bale/Martial swap

07.45: Manchester United are prepared to use Anthony Martial in the deal to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.

Spanish website Don Balon claim United will offer Martial plus cash to seal Bale.

The Wales star’s future looks likely to be away from Madrid despite a return to form in recent weeks.

Bale has scored three goals in his last two games, including one in the Clasico.

But Madrid are set to overhaul their squad and see Bale as an option to let go.

Man Utd land £50m Sandro deal

07.30: Manchester United are closing in on a £50m deal for Alex Sandro, according to reports.

The Sunday Times claim United will kick-start their summer spending with the acquisition of the Juventus left-back.

Chelsea were in for Sandro but baulked at Juve’s asking price last summer.

But he is now keen to move and United believe they are close to a deal.

Sandro’s arrival would likely spell the end for Luke Shaw at Old Trafford.
