Dow Slides as Investors Worry About Slowing Economic Growth

U.S. shares had been combined and oil costs fell as buyers nervous that slowing financial development may curb power consumption.

The S&P 500 fell 0.3% Tuesday to begin the buying and selling week after the U.S. inventory and bond markets were closed for the Independence Day holiday. The Dow Jones Industrial Common misplaced 0.9%, or almost 500 factors. The tech-focused Nasdaq Composite Index shed earlier losses to achieve 1.4%.
