Stocks Open Lower Ahead of Earnings Season

U.S. shares declined as earnings season is ready to kick off this week, spurring considerations in regards to the affect of inflation on company earnings. 

The S&P 500 fell 0.8% because the broad-market index began the week off on a destructive word. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 1.1%, pointing to losses for expertise shares. The Dow Jones Industrial Common opened 0.5% decrease.
