NFT Marketplace OpenSea to Lay Off 20% of Employees


OpenSea, one of many largest marketplaces for nonfungible tokens, mentioned Thursday it might reduce a fifth of its employees because the crash in cryptocurrency costs continued to wreak havoc on digital-asset corporations.

Chief Government Devin Finzer mentioned in an inner memo to workers that he shared on Twitter that the corporate would supply severance and healthcare protection into 2023, in addition to accelerated fairness vesting, for these laid off.
