Lisa Kudrow recollects her son’s response to watching Buddies for the primary time — and we’ve bought to confess it’s WAY back-handed!
As you’re conscious, Lisa performed the enduring character Phoebe Buffay (in addition to her twin sister Ursula) on the smash-hit TV present. Her son, Julian Stern, was solely 5 years outdated when the present went off the air again in 2004 — which implies he didn’t watch till he was a bit older.

In an interview on Wednesday’s episode of Late Evening with Seth Meyers, the comedy star recalled the primary time her son watched the present:
“He was five when we were finished [filming]… but he did start watching when his friends at school started watching.”
She recalled how the now 24-year-old instructed her he was actually “impressed” with how humorous the blokes have been within the present:
“He watched it and he was impressed. He said ‘It’s actually really funny, I mean, the guys are so funny.’”
Yikes! First off, it’s truly humorous? However extra importantly… no love for Mother???
Properly, that’s what Lisa stated, too! The 58-year-old’s son did go on to reward his momma, however apparently solely to placate her! Ha!
“He’s like, “No, I mean you’re funny too.’”
Ouch! The actress went on to share how she felt a little bit of a sting from her little one’s revelation:
“Never in my life have I wanted to tell my own kid, like, ‘F**k you!’ I mean, I thought it, I didn’t say it.”
LOLz!!
She laughed and did say she “understood” Julian’s viewpoint, but in addition added that he didn’t must be so “demeaning” about it:
“It’s not required that you’re a fan. You don’t have to like what I do. But don’t be so demeaning!”
