Deutsche Lufthansa canceled nearly all of its flights from two of its hub airports as floor employees staged a walkout, exacerbating disruption that has plagued the aviation business because it tries to increase flying to satisfy surging journey demand.
The German service stated 678 flights had been scrapped from Frankfurt Airport and an extra 345 at its Munich hub on Wednesday forward of the beginning of the holiday season in elements of the nation this weekend. About 134,000 passengers are affected, it stated, including that the strike may result in extra delays and cancellations on Thursday and Friday.
