Eli Lilly, Cummins Speak Out Against Indiana’s Ban on Most Abortions


Indiana-based corporations Eli Lilly & Co. and Cummins spoke towards the state’s new abortion law, saying the restrictions might harm the businesses’ potential to maintain and entice staff and will have an effect on the place the companies develop.

The Saturday statements got here after Indiana’s governor on Friday signed a near-total ban on abortions shortly after lawmakers accepted it. The ban takes impact Sept. 15 and contains exceptions.
