U.S. shares flipped between slight gains and losses Wednesday following three consecutive days of declines pushed by an expectation of tighter Federal Reserve coverage.
The S&P 500 was primarily flat. The Dow Jones Industrial Common fell 0.1%, and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.1%.
