Gasoline Prices Extend Declines Into Labor Day Weekend

Date:

Tens of millions of drivers hitting the highway over Labor Day weekend are getting a break on the gasoline pump.

The U.S. common value for normal unleaded gasoline has fallen for 11 consecutive weeks to $3.81 a gallon, based on GasBuddy knowledge. That’s nearing the 12-week lengthy shedding streak throughout the pandemic restrictions in spring of 2020. Costs have misplaced about 25% from a report of $5 in mid-June, with motorists rethinking journeys and progress slowing within the U.S. and China.
